Basic, but very nice, down to earth Czech food in quirky surroundings, very friendly proprietor offered us liqueurs at end of meal. Very good value for money, half the cost of restaurants in Wenceslas Square or busy parts of old town. GooglePlace - January 2018

Brilliantly quirky place in the basement of its building. Medieval themed with lots of armour and iconography. The food was amazing and reasonably priced too and waitresses were superbly friendly too, even with our lack of Czech when ordering. Well worth a visit. GooglePlace - January 2018

Best place in Praha / Prague for sure. Me and my company of 8 went there and we all liked the service, the food and the environment. They serve only beer from Prag, knows good english and even had a nice idea to celebrate our birthday-guy when we visited. Best place is not a word we use lightly since we went around Prague for a couple of days before ending up here. Make sure you visit the 1st floor for this service, not the basement (2nd floor). If you go to Prague, and want to visit a nice pub/food place, this is the place. Thank you! GooglePlace - December 2017

Authentic Czech cuisine and beer at very good prices. The servings were huge and the waiter was extremely friendly on the night of our visit! GooglePlace - December 2017

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The food is great and cheap for the quality! The service is also great, with English speaking waiters and very polite. I had the classic spavocika and it was amazing, very tasty! My boyfriend is vegetarian and he had some soupe, salad and some roasted potatoes with sauer cream that you would say that came directly from heaven. And we had two pints of beer. The whole bill was 430ck!!!! It's crazy. The only thing it's not that amazing is the place itself, it's in a kind of cave in the underground, with no windows and viking-like decorated...
