One of the best dinners we had in Prague in a very interesting place such as this. The concept is medieval, low light and candles, very different than other restaurants! A bit hidden from the main street, but definitely worths a visit. Food was really tasty, we had cabbage soup, potato wedges and svichova. GooglePlace - December 2017

This is an interessting and lovely place. It looks pretty normal from the outside, but after you enter it, you will be fascinated. It's dark and looks medieval. You have a fireplace and a medieval interior. Food is cheap and you have a huge selection. Also good beer selection. 60 Kronen for a beer. Friendly staff and also clean toilets. It's wonderful and I will come again. GooglePlace - December 2017

Very good service staff very friendly even advise on sharing a dish due to its size left menu for us if we were still hungry we could pick anything else. Food of a very good standard and cheap ale . Probably the best places to visit in Prague. Cosy medieval setting. GooglePlace - December 2017

Can't really say anything bad about this place at all. The decor is great- really gives a medieval tavern/dungeony feel. Beer selection if good and tasty. Food selection is good and tasty. Surprisingly broad menu. Worst thing was the clientele kept leaving the door open to the bitter cold when they came in or left but that's not the proprietors' fault. GooglePlace - December 2017

One of our favorites for traditional Czech food in Mala Strana. Even though it is steps from the heavily tourist street, it's quiet. The food is excellent. We've eaten a lot of traditional Czech and theirs is very well done. The sauces are balanced and the portions are a great size. We love the whole roast trout and the mulled wine is great after a cold afternoon walk. The menu is long, but worth a look through and they have a better beer selection than most. If you're going with a party larger than to a reservation may be advisable for dinner. Weekends I think they run a medieval show of some sort but we tend to steer clear of the touristy areas on the weekend so we've never been. GooglePlace - September 2017
