Unique small bar serving interesting and tasty food. Bartenders are top notch - let them surprise you. They keep a tray with a pitcher of ice water and glasses on the bar - very cool.

Food is great, but the service is terrible. This would be a top restaurant in sf with faster, better service. Really embarrassing.

This little hidden gem is amazing. A fun little speakeasy/prohibition atmosphere with awesome, tasty cocktails. I live in Denver but will be visiting this place next time I am in San Fran.

Visited this place for the first time with a friend Thursday evening during Happy Hour $2 off drinks. It's a quiet place, and we were able to talk and catch up without having to yell. The bar tenders were attentive and didn't leave me with an empty glass for long! The drink menu isn't wildly creative. They have the classics old fashioned, Moscow mule. My friend likes the whiskey selection. I'd visit here again before going out to other bars in the area.

Go during brunch. 11:30 - 3:00. Punch Drunk Burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Where to start... It's served with seasoned cubed hash browns and curry seasoned ketchup. The burger has a fried egg, aurgula, bacon, stone ground seasoned pickles, special sauce, and the bun is light and slightly toasted. Casual, low key atmosphere to grab a drink and some food. Will always recommend this place for any SF goers. Awesome staff, affordable, and a speakeasy environment.
