Mario Batali Showering SF with Salumi at Belcampo Meat Co.
Mario Batali Showering SF with Salumi at Belcampo Meat Co. The orange clog-clad chef has released a line of salumi for sale at Belcampo stores. Mario Batali hasn’t historically shown San Francisco much love, instead focusing on his NYC, LA, ... continue Eater SF
Belcampo Launching $3,750 "Meat Camp" Exclusively For Women and Gay Men
Belcampo Launching $3,750 "Meat Camp" Exclusively For Women and Gay Men No, not THAT kind of meat camp. The concept of "meat camp" may summon images of heterosexual, beer-swilling dudes taking turns poking at a Weber kettle grill outside a cabin. That' ... continue Eater SF

Delicious hamburger, great staff and a lot of goodies for the kitchen and pantry. GooglePlace - January 2018

I only patronized the butcher shop as I didn't have time for a bite. The meat was ultra good--tender, fresh, and succulent. Once you have had this, you can't go back to the tasteless stuff sold at supermarkets. Staff is also super friendly. GooglePlace - January 2018

An outstanding butchers that also cooks (to your taste) what they sell and of my, is good. Their own Belcampo Burger was awesome, but at $15+ (just for the burger) you would expect so! It's worth it though, given the care and quality of the meat and of course, the cow it came from πŸ„ The various unique cold drinks on offer should please everyone, but is a little bit and miss, as you won't really know the products, especially the Modern Times Beer I got, which truly unique and as described, sour 🍺 The only annoyance is the store refrigerators, they are noisy and keep the entire room a little cooler than I'd prefer, but on a hot day, perfect really. The atmosphere feels more butcher than restaurant, with staff banging banging around in the kitchen and loud conversions, but they do at least play some rather fun upbeat mix music that helps with the noise and atmosphere a little 🎢 As my photos show, you can buy a lot of awesome stuff here from their open fridges, including the same meats they serve πŸ– There is no smell of Belcampo being an actual butchers too and no signs of raw meat being handled whilst you are eating, so don't feel put off by any of that, it's too good to miss really πŸ” Staff were both friendly, helpful and the place felt super clean πŸ‘Œ My only minor moan was WiFi was not working whilst I was their and prevented me (as a tourist) from some basic communications with others. Not terrible, but still annoying πŸ“Ά Recommend, despite the above and slightly higher costs than expect with this modern style airy butcher-restaurant... But'aurant πŸ˜‹ GooglePlace - October 2017

Fabulous fare and welcoming service. Moderate prices and generous portions -- an excellent value becomes a bargain during "Happy Hour". A small eatery with a laid back, quiet vibe. Not pretentious, just Farm to Table done really well, a neighborhood gem! GooglePlace - March 2017
