Located across the street from the world-famous Ghirardelli Square, the cafe offers coffee from Equator (located in Marin County) who roast their own beans every week. Pastries and other fresh food items come from local sources and are prepared fresh everyday. BPC has also has a selection of ice cold beer & wine (red & white) as well! Come in to try our seasonal selections of food and beverages... Specials change everyday. The name Blackpoint comes from the original name of the area in the late 1800's when it was known as Blackpoint Cove. The cafe offers stunning views of the Aquatic Park and the Bay! Drink: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Location, atmosphere, music, staff: all 5/5 Lavender latte was unique! Not a particularly harmonious blend of the flavors, a bit muddiera mix than I would have liked. But I'm not a barista and it was still worth having! The chicken pesto sandwich was decent with a great atmosphere. Plus, the location can't be beat! Wish breakfast were open past noon because cafe breakfast food is usually better than cafe lunch food. Gave it four stars for food quality, but definitely a place I'll come back to! My friend and I wanted to go to a place for brunch and came across this place right next to the ghirardelli square. Nice and chill ambiance inside. We enjoyed our food I got the French toast and my friend got the grilled chicken sandwich. She wanted to replace the chips with hashbrown but had to pay extra. Service was alright, the lady at the front was a little rude. The chicken sandwich was dry but highly recommend the French toast. GooglePlace - July 2017

The food was decent for counter serve but the customer service was disappointing on our visit. Had to repeat our coffee orders and they still got hers wrong. Also not sure why our drinks only came out as we were almost finished with our bagel sandwiches but that was annoying. GooglePlace - June 2017

Food was decent, actually quite tasty but took 40 minutes to make a salad and sandwich. Not a problem except others were being served well before us who came in well after us. Things happen, I get it, but the staff reaction to my innocent question made me feel like I did something wrong. Not a very nice staff nor friendly service. Bathroom was gross. GooglePlace - June 2017
