Amazing food. Lyft driver turned us on to this place, then our friend from the area also mentioned it, so glad we listened. you WILL NOT be disappointed. Got the shrimp and grits, a winner. GooglePlace - November 2017

Seating: F U. You are on your own unless you spot the sign way above your head stating you have to write your name on the list. Even if staff is idle, no one to welcome you. But the food is very Cajun. Best to order to go GooglePlace - November 2017

Had to wait for almost an hour just to get in due to the long waiting list for lunch. It was definitely worth it. The food was warming to the soul as the name suggests. Tried the crayfish brioche bun. The bun was perfect, warm and fluffy on the inside. The crayfish filling was moist and succulent. Tried the pork belly with warm cheesy grit soups. Never had anything remotely like that before but it was really warming our hearts for that wintry afternoon. The most memorable food I had in San Francisco. GooglePlace - November 2017

Brenda's is always a hit when I come out to San Francisco. I did lunch this time around and it was awesome. I typically do the breakfast, which carries into lunch, and that's been a hit with whoever I am with. I would definitely recommend coming here if you can! GooglePlace - October 2017
