Birthplace of the Irish coffee. I just love this spot. It is warm and welcoming. The barmen are friendly and great to watch as they turn out multiple perfectly made Irish coffees made with Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey and crowned with delicious lightly whipped heavy cream. It just warms you to the core. For a change of pace ask for the orange hot chocolate. You will not regret it. GooglePlace - September 2017

Corner of Hyde and Beach at the end of the cable car line and just a short walk from Fisherman's wharf, this is a place you don't want to miss. We've been coming here for years to enjoy a great view and some great Irish coffees! The food looks really good although we've never eaten here. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5-stars is that it is expensive. 2 rounds (for 4 people) of Irish Coffees will end up costing you $100 w/tip so, not an everyday hangout. It is a tourist trap for sure.. GooglePlace - August 2017

Any absolute money machine. Food is cafeteria quality. You'd do better at a nearby fast food chain. Irish coffees are their claim to fame. Sloppily poured 6,8,10 at a time. $11 a pop for cheap coffee & whiskey. Fortunately, no one can wreck that combination. Good place if you enjoy watching tourists being separated from their money. This is a fun place to meet all kinds of interesting people. Not only was the Irish coffee great, so was the food. Did not know they had food. My friends and I were happy with our food. The service great. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. Making sure that are drinks were not empty. Would recommend this place. GooglePlace - July 2017

This place was awesome! We walked in around 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon and were able to grab two seats at the bar easily. The Irish coffee ($10) was delicious and worth getting. The hot chocolate was also delicious. You can get the recipe for the Irish coffee and take your receipt around the corner to their gift shop for free postcards. The service in both the restaurant and gift shop was great. GooglePlace - May 2017
