A great place by the fisherman's wharf to grab a drink or a dessert or maybe both, depending upon your mood and cravings :) I had both and they both were delicious. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. For a Thursday night, it was packed with people from all walks of life, all friendly and down to earth fellows. A just visit in SF area. The place where Irish Coffee was introduced in America. It works a little differently from other places. The bar is drinks only. The tables and counter are for food. Tables are shared and on a first come first served basis (there’s also no bar menu. As the bar is drinks only there are no children allowed at the bar). There’s no host/ess to explain this. The food is standard diner fare. It’s got a very old school vibe. The bartenders with decades of experience are a nice flashback GooglePlace - February 2018

Classic bar and restaurant down near Fisherman's Wharf. I only came here for a quick cocktail, ordered the Ultimate Bacon Bloody Mary. The presentation was beautiful with two large shrimp and small slab of bacon. The drink itself was small and pretty watered down but it was still fun to order and enjoy. I liked the family-style dining environment. There are large tables and if there's room, you can simply ask to sit next to others already seated there. Great way to meet people visiting from out of town and to hear their story. The folks we sat next to had ordered a club sandwich which looked incredible and will likely be what I'll try out should I go back for a bite to eat sometime. GooglePlace - January 2018

Beautiful pub and great atmosphere among customers. However, the bar tending staff we encountered, over three visits last week, are extremely bad mannered. Despite the fact that our group spent quite a lot of money in this particular bar, the 3 guys preparing the Irish Coffees were, what I can only describe as, downright rude. To top that, the rudest guy, who is the tallest guy with grey hair, wore a filthy and badly stained white jacket on each occasion. That certainly put us off eating there. I won't be visiting that pub again in a hurry. GooglePlace - January 2018

Great Atmosphere, world famous Irish Coffee to get, make sure you order one if you go here. Even if you don't like it that much it is their signature and like a tradition. I went here two times during my visit to SF, it was Christmas and so really crowded, however the service was really fast, the crowd were all cheering and it was a great experience to be there. We tried fish and chips, a seafood which I don't remember the name( the one in the picture), crab soup and nacho, all of them were good and satisfying in my view. GooglePlace - January 2018
