Very friendly staff, more than willing to suggest great drinks, seating and food. Private, romantic booth seating is available, allowing you and yours to be closed off from other parties at the restaurant. The perfect date spot!

Great menu, albeit a bit meat heavy. We did have to send two steaks back for being undercooked, so be clear on preference.

This restaurant is BOMB. All the food is good. You cannot go wrong going here. Also, they have a super cool bar area right when you walk in. It's awesome. To get to it, go into the hotel and go up to the second floor.

LOVE speak-easy vibe, and this was perfect. Burritt Room is located inside a hotel in Union Square. We walked inside the hotel and was greeted by the front desk and first thing came out of our mouth, 'We're looking for Burritt Room?' A gentleman in his suit walked us towards the stairs and guided us up. The lounge was located in the back of the hotel. Choices to get up there? Stairs or the old school elevator, which you have to open the door while the gate inside slides open, and it locks on it's own as you push the button. Creepy but cool.
The lounge was dimmed and cute. The bartender's were in their nice vest, had ties, and well done hair. The bar was full, the lounge/sofa seats were full BUT we were able to squeeze in to get our drinks. People there were friendly. Just ask if you can look at the menu, and they'll hand it to ya.
Picked our poison: Old fashions with rye. Tasty. Want comfort? Sit on the sofa by the chandelier. You will feel romantic and relaxed. (hint hint if you are on a date) Love how there's coat hangers by the mirrors and by the sofa seats.
Prices are ranged from $6-$12. The punch bowl seems to be popular if it's you and friend's first time. I believe there's a minimum of people in order for purchase. Overall, we both enjoyed it here.
Note: They also have a food menu.

We made a reservation for 5:45 PM on Thanksgiving Day. We were not seated until 7 PM. The hosts were extremely disorganized but pleasant. I had to keep reminding them what my name was and how many people were in my party.
Once we finally got seated the food came out too fast. It was family style. The turkey was mostly dark meat and the pork loin was dry and cold. The roasted yams were cold. The meal finished with three types of pie, only one of which tasted good. Our server was polite and attentive but unfortunately that wasn't enough to overcome the wait and the mediocre food. I would go back, but only for a cocktail at the bar; food is not their strong point.
