CHICA serving you CHICANA (Mexican-American) style food faire. Mexican flavors paired with Latin American & California flare. Our recipes are crafted by applying both traditional and nontraditional techniques to Mexican & American cooking while using fresh, as much organic ingredients as we can from local, reputable sources. CHICA started as a concept and is now a part of the Bay Area's food scene. Starting from the ground up from dinner pop-ups around the Bay Area --to-- Tented Vendor at the infamous Off the Grid, Fort Mason Center --to--Take-Out Window. We're still pushing along to eventually have our own flagship restaurant. Overall tasty and fresh. The portion of meat was a bit small but balanced well by the sides. The carnitas were tender but didn't have much flavor...I got one of the side sauces to add a little punch. The line moved slow for awhile but then cleared fast, probably just waiting on a fresh batch of something. Chica is a carry out window spot, for lunch and breakfast. GooglePlace - October 2016
