I've been here twice now when traveling to the City, and this fast becoming my ho to Italian waterfront seafood joint! More than just a touristy, Food Network raved hotspot. Great place to have a meal with friends and family! Terrific service, even better food, and an always cozy atmosphere! Date night or meeting night, this is your spot! GooglePlace - February 2017

One of the best restaurants in town with excellent food (very FRESH), reasonable prices, superb service and relaxing and enjoyable ambiance! Durring our visits to San Francisco, we've been to a few other 4 -4.5 rated places more expensive and they were lousy - food quality was frozen and canned (NOT Fresh) and priced way too high...Thank God for Cioppino's, never dissapoints! Whoa. Blown away. I had the dish that's the namesake for the restaurant and it was amazing. Zero regrets. There's also a great atmosphere and the staff was incredibly friendly. GooglePlace - January 2017

Okay, so the food was quite nice. And the service was good too. However there is a charge for your servers insurance etc, so I didn't leave a tip, this is not mandatory of course. I then left the restaurant forgetting my bag, so I went back to get it and the server met me at the door along with the receipt, and said "you not like service?" To which i say ofcourse I liked the service. Then he repeated himself and said, rudely "service not included" and walked away shaking his head. I understand that some workers rely on tips to make their wage, but that's already put on the bill. I thought it was very rude and will never go back to this restaurant. Where I come from customers are never made to feel under pressure to tip. GooglePlace - October 2016

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Excellent food. Excellent service. Good for kids too. I had the bacon wrapped prawns and it was excellent. Gluten free friends, beware - the potatoes were coated in a thin crunchy breading. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and he said it was excellent. Kids did fine with the spaghetti and meatballs.
