This is my favorite place to grab lunch near South Park because of two words: Combo Plate. You must try this. For only $7, you get a huge plate of homemade hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, dolma, parsley salad, tomato and cucumber salad, whole wheat pita, and lentil and onion rice. It's the simple healthy homemade mediterranean goodness that you can't really find anywhere and yet is so much better than the greasy wraps and oily salads that people usually associate with greek food. If you want meat, they'll add chicken breast for a dollar fitty. Their macaroni salad kicks heinie too.
How to order: Saunter in like you know what you're doing, pick up a slip to write out your order (there's one for sandwiches, and another for everything else), write down "combo plate" on the bottom, then check off which type of pita bread you'd like (white or wheat). You stick the slip in the drop-off box, drool over what everyone else is getting (it's especially packed during lunch), then badaboom- you get a filling, healthy, and authentic lunch that won't put you to sleep for that critical 2hour meeting.
