We had the items on the fixed menu and thought the food was good, but not over the top. We had a few veg and meat dishes from the fixed menu. I think we only cared for one of the veg dishes. You can taste the quality ingredients, portions were a bit small and we were still a bit hungry after getting a few items including a dessert. Overall, good experience, but we wouldn't revisit. Based on my experience I do not recommend the tasting menu ($85) because with a glass of wine my bill after tax and tip came at $130 but the service was terrible and the food starting from the 4th course only got worse. I do appreciate the fact that one of the courses was porridge (!!) so it was more filling compare to other dishes. Our waitress was cold and didn't ask us how we were doing the whole night. Also I believe it's basic common sense that whether you're a fancy restaurant or not, you do not serve food in broken dishes. We had multiple broken dishes even after we brought up our concern to our waitress. I really don't know why they are rated 1 star. I'm very positive you could find many other better restaurants in SF. GooglePlace - August 2017

We did the Tasting Menu, and it was truly incredible. The flavor combinations and the various unexpected preparation methods gave the meal a fun yet sophisticated feel to it. The highlight was easily the scallop dish. They took scallops, pounded them until flat, then ran them through a pasta maker. It was phenomenal. The only missed note was the duck which was too gristly. GooglePlace - July 2017
