Peking duck is good...but didn't care for the duck chow fun too much...most of the meat was bone and made it hard to enjoy the noodles. Nice atmosphere. GooglePlace - December 2017

As a disclaimer -- this is an updated review. I had my wedding at CJ in early September, and I discussed some of the issues that I had in my original review, specifically with the no-longer-works there wedding coordinator. But since the posting of my original review, CJ has reached out and taken care of all my concerns. Thus, I think it is only fair to update my review. FIVE STARS for King, the floor manager and his staff. All waiters and waitresses were very professional, diligent and took very good care of all my 120 guests. FIVE STARS for the chefs. The food was great, beyond my expectations for a Chinese restaurant located in the financial district. I had a lot of compliments from my guests about the food being very delicious and beyond their expectations as well. FIVE STARS for the view and venue. Very elegant space with great view of the Bay bridge and Ferry building. I had my ceremony and cocktail hour out at the patio and then the reception inside. Convenient for my guests since no moving around between ceremony and reception. The open space was very beautiful. Decor was elegant and the bathrooms were clean. I was able to use one of the rooms for Chinese tea ceremony and another room for the photo-booth, so there was plenty of space for the wedding. Overall, I do recommend CJ for a classy and clean Chinese banquet wedding. My suggestion is to have everything specifically negotiated and stated, WITH DETAILS, in your contract before putting down a deposit--from corkage fee (champagne and/or wine), what specific kinds of alcohol/liquor to be served (if open bar), and provide a maximum cap on your bill. Ask for waiving of cake-cutting fee because I have been told that CJ always gave their wedding clients that. GooglePlace - October 2017

Have been here for company happy hour, dim sum, and dinner. I will say that the food is pretty good and pretty authentic but the prices are outrageous. Happy hour was a 5 because of the setting sitting out on the patio and being able to see the ferry building and the water was amazing. GooglePlace - October 2017

We tried Crystal Jade because it was conveniently located near where we live. When we looked it up on Yelp, it didn't have amazing reviews so we hesitated a bit but when we actually tried the restaurant, it was as great as it could get: the great view from the patio, friendly staff and very delicious food! Only thing is the food portion was a bit smaller than I hoped for. GooglePlace - July 2017
