This is a great little restaurant that does, indeed, have the best plantain burrito in town (I order it spicy with the choice of meat I'm in the mood for). This is an ideal place to stop in before a few beers at Toronado. The decor borders a hole-in-the wall, but you're not there for the decor. The gratis chips and spicy salsa hits the spot and they have Mexican and Salvadorean beer. Rumor has it they are fighting to stay there, so try this place before it becomes another victim of this changing city.

My favorite plantain burrito in town. Run by a mother, daughter, and now son, these folks treat their customers like family, too, and keep them coming back. But be warned - it's cash only.

great family run restaurant- plantain burrito most excellent. Hole in the wall outside, clean kitchen with fresh food cooked by the owner himself.

A humble and delicious family-owned joint with great service. Everything is prepared/assembled to order. Nothing crazy in terms of flavor or presentation, but tastes authentic and home-cooked. Try the chicken enchiladas or the plantain burrito...

A hole in the wall Mexican joint with just the right level of grunge and no frills food. A great value for delicious food and generous portions. The ladies at the counter are really friendly, if a bit rushed. The guacamole was very fresh and my chili relleno was perfect!
