Came for after work drinks and snacks with a few girlfriends. Arrived in time for happy hour and enjoyed some small plates and sangria.
The sangria was decently priced at $30/carafe, not a complete bargain but better than their usual $36. It was overly sweet though and created a nasty hangover the next morning despite not drinking much.
The plantains were fried super thin with just a hint of salt. They were pure plantain flavor, no oil or other things left behind from the frying process, and some of my favorite I've had. They were served plain but paired fabulously with the guacamole we ordered.
The guacamole came with thick tortilla chips. I preferred the plantains to the chips, but the guac was on point, with good amounts of garlic and onion and no tomatoes - just the way I like it.
The wings were a large portion, maybe overly sauced for a normal person but I love me some sauce! They had good spice and the sauce tasted strongly of chipotle and vinegar. I was a big fan.
I'd definitely come back, though I'll stick to liquor and beer next time!
