Tips from the Net @ Fairmont Hotel Crown Room

Absolutely gorgeous! The lobby was so intricate, and the Gold Room was breathtaking. Dinner at the Tonga Room was very good. Could only finish half my drink because it was so strong (which isn't a bad thing), and the food was good and the band was really fun. Overall a wonderful 16th anniversary outing. Extremely comfortable rooms with great views and every convenience. Beautiful lobby and fun bars/restaurants. The Tonga Room is an awesome time capsule of a bar. Good location, though there's not a ton of retail and restaurants immediately around the hotel. GooglePlace - October 2017

Stay was great. Historic hotel is very nice and maintained well. Room was in excellent shape and air conditioning worked well. Only issue is the low flow shower. Staff was friendly and helpful GooglePlace - October 2017

Starting around $300 a night. In my opinion, it is not worth it. Room is pretty standard. Room is clean and no funny smells. Amenities includes standard coffees and teas. Queens bed is nice and firm. Bathroom is average. Standard amenities...shampoos conditioners. Soaps, etc... Water form showered head is pretty low due to water restriction shower head installed. Just a simple standard 2 setting shower head. No in room jacuzzi. Parking at hotel was $62 per day. You can park at other parking lots about 1-1.5 blocks away for around $42 - $50. Street parking was nearly impossible. Foods and services were excellent while we were there. There are nicer rooms available for more $$$ for those who desired. On weekend, they serve teas are the top of hotel. View of the bay was exceptional. GooglePlace - September 2017

Was a attending a one day conference. All meeting apace was good, not my style as it is a bit dated and cheesy but that is the style of the hotel. Did not eat lunch at the hotel. One complaint would be that the hot water kept running out and nobody could be found to fill it. Guestrooms are nice and large, very airy - I did not stay at the hotel but was given a tour by one of sales managers as part of attending the event. GooglePlace - September 2017
