The pasta is very good and often unique. The pizza is good but nothing outstanding usually. Prices are quite high - I'd expect much more for the price. Honestly, it feels over hyped. I've been twice and I'd avoid going back. GooglePlace - July 2017

Flour + Water is definitely a culinary destination. The pasta portions are relatively small but flavors are amazing; this is a place you go for quality over quantity. My girlfriend and I also split a pizza and the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the tomato sauce was some of the best I've ever had. Service was good too. Definitely make reservations well in advance as this place is very popular. GooglePlace - July 2017

One of the best restaurants in San Francisco, with a very nice and relaxed vibe. The pasta is one of the very best i have ever had! Great place to spend an evening with friends! GooglePlace - July 2017

Trendy place with a great atmosphere - we went on a Monday night! Pasta was great, so was the dessert. Pizza wasn't the best. Friendly staff but hate how they give you the cheque when you're still eating dessert. "No rush" they say, but it feels like they want us out. GooglePlace - July 2017

Forget the pizzas, go all in on the pastas. There's a reason this place is known for them, and the ingredients these folks are able to serve up in a rich and colorful compositions are to die for. They're a bit heavy on incorporating citrus into these pastas (or perhaps this is just a seasonal feature for the current menu), but the zest was appreciated nonetheless. Pair most of them with a young barbera and enjoy! GooglePlace - June 2017
