Not as popular (nor good) as the Z&Y next door. The food is very good for a Chinese restaurant in the U.S. But there are definitely plenty of better restaurants in China Town. The service is on a par with most of China town restaurants, which is lousy (not really their fault, just overwhelmed by too many visitors) . The good part is it almost always has a table (you don't have to wait for a long time if there isn't). So if you can are a hungry tourist who don't want to wait 40 min for (better) food, this is a place to go after. GooglePlace - July 2017

Never a bad trip to this spot. We love the family style setting and always go here when we have a large group. Authentic food and always good service. GooglePlace - July 2017

My family had the dim sum for lunch during the week. Pricey at nearly $5 per ordered dim sum dish, when compared to prices in SoCal. But we figured we'd have to eat in Chinatown at least once while visiting SF. What was good: Turnip cake, soy sauce chicken (tender), fried shrimp dumplings. Not good: Combo fried rice (really greasy), chicken feet (tastes better in SoCal). Ambience of restaurant is nice, we ate downstairs, and bathrooms clean. But they would not validate our parking even though we spent $60 on our meal. Waiter said they validate if you spend $80. Whatever. Plus, I would have given higher marks if I did not have GI issues later in the afternoon. Granted my stomach is more sensitive than my wife and son, but good tasting food should also be clean. Maybe too much grease from the fried rice? GooglePlace - July 2017

Food was ok. Not dam, that was as good as mom's cooking. Long wait and looking back I wouldn't wait again. Waiter was a rude as a fart in church and no help. Tea was given and not asked, plus charged. No help figuring out menu, you're own your own. It was simple, they give you a pencil and mark off what you want. Shrimp was nice size but it tasted a bit bleached. Lastly, it was extremely noisy. Overall, a one time experience for me. GooglePlace - July 2017
