Expected tourist trap but pleasantly surprised. The place was empty when we came in around 2pm on a Sunday, which almost made us go elsewhere. I'm glad we didn't because the food was good, service friendly, and great views of the bay. Portions were not large and it was a bit on the expensive side. We didn't try sushi based on low expectations. Garlic noodle, salmon, and ahi salad were good. Would actually go back. GooglePlace - July 2017

Great location with perfect view on Alcatraz Island and all the water activities. Food was amazing and service excellent. Absolutely best place to have a dinner after long day of exploring San Francisco. Angie the owner is wonderful. Will definitely be back when we are in SF. GooglePlace - June 2017

There is a nice view if you sit at the restaurant. We sat at the bar.We ordered on roll to share, which was good but... the bartender was not friendly.... and there was a sign of beers listed and their happy hour menu on the bar itself and also a list of beers on a larger sign at the bar... we asked for a beer from the menu and they didnt have it, asked for another beer, didn't have it. Very confusing. The service was also slow and the place was not busy at that time. GooglePlace - May 2017

Very poorly organized here and food was very poorly served. There was a lack in communication between the servers and busers, leading to multiple conflicts in front of the guests. The display and quality of the sushi was terrible. I am looking at the PACIFIC OCEAN RIGHT NOW. It is 50 feet away. Thus, I would assume the quality of fish would be reasonable. Bottom line, I have had better sushi in IOWA. Not kidding. Iowa. GooglePlace - April 2017
