Love love love this place! It's small, no tv's so go with someone you want to have a good conversation with lol. Oysters were expensive but sooooo worth it. Ask for their hot sauce which they make in house. They climb a ladder to get your whiskey then bring it out and set it in front of you which is good for the conversation too lol. Older gent working kinda seemed bothered by my questions but young guy from San Diego was awesome and polite. GooglePlace - December 2017

Stumbled upon this American Whiskey bar randomly while walking along the waterfront. Best experience in an establishment on our entire trip. Bartenders are true Craftsmen and their level of knowledge is as good as it gets. They talk to you to see what you like and have something for everyone. The food is tasty and relevant to what you are drinking as well. Their Wall of Whiskey is a sight to behold. GooglePlace - December 2017

I've never been to a bar before where the bar seats are "reserved", they try to call it a restaurant but have 10 shelves of bourbons/whiskeys behind the bar and told that if we want a drink we need to stand in a certain area and can not order food. Would have been cool to try one of their unique drinks but had a better experience and drink at Water Bar, La Mar & Epic. Don't waste your time on this place. GooglePlace - November 2017

The cocktails are solid, and their whiskey list is quite large, with premium pricing on the pours. Food menu is small but also quite good, and the chicken pairs well. Service is consistently very slow here, and I've found my table waiting 20 or 30 minutes after our drinks are empty before we can get waitstaff's attention. On my last visit the restaurant was perhaps half full but our server was nowhere to be found. I was fortunate enough to have the right cash on me to cover the tab and walk out after a half hour.
