I LOVE this place. Since I first walked through the door back in the 1980's! The food is great, the music, the people are fun and my favorite bartender, Charlie, well he's been there for years. Most bars in the Castro have all the ingredients for good cocktails except one good bartenders. Harvey's is the exception to the rule their bartenders are both experienced and know how a quality cocktail needs to be made without charging an inflated price for it. If you want to go someplace to relax that's not stuffy and still have a good drink without paying overpriced cocktail fees then Harvey's is your choice. Basic bar food with a twist. Love it. Food and Service is alright. Be prepared to wait a little bit to get seated. It's very popular because it is convenient place on Castro Street and named Harvey!! After Harvey Milk. The drinks are Strong and sweet which is great. We had the pineapple upside down drink and the white Sangria. We ate nachos and the turkey club. The fires were good. I would recommend going but maybe ordering a special or their specialty items. GooglePlace - February 2017
