This is the place that convinced me that ousters are delicious. Try the bar set of 6 and you'll fall in love in 2 or 3 of them. GooglePlace - May 2017

A very long wait worth every second. I had a dozen of the the sampler oysters -- all of which were deliciously flavorful, clean and fresh. I paired them with a glass of champagne and their house rootbeer in order to put the oysters with some carbonation to balance the texture. If you can, take a seat at the oyster bar for breathtaking views of the water while you watch through the glass as the oysters get shucked on the other side of the counter. GooglePlace - May 2017

I've never been to Oyster Boys but this definitely ranks one of the top for me so if you want to argue about it we can settle this over an 8 hour game of Monopoly. I'm insanely good at it but my lucky charm is the Iron piece. My secret...always buy Rail Roads...and stealing from the bank. 2 Dozen Just 4 Me! I'm not fat, I'm just fluffy. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long because I got there when it opened but I wasn't about to waste any stomach space for any food outside of of those amazing little oysters. Obviously didn't know what I was doing so I got the sample flight of oysters ($64) including Hog Island Sweet Water, Atlantic, Kumamoto, Kodomo, Cliffsides, 38 degrees north and Island Creek. For the most part they were plump, medium brine with a clean after taste. Definitely didn't overpower the star oyster with too much sauce and lemon though. That Bloody Mary Though Match made in heaven. The most perfectly thick, spicy and tart Bloody Mary to compliment your oysters. Typically you'll get a little side of horseradish with your oyster, here if you order the Bloody Mary, they'll also put it in your drink so that as you case your oyster shot with a drink it's the perfect combination with a huge kick of spice that will leave you floored. I can't explain it, you'll just have to try it for yourself. Why don't oysters give to charity? Because they're shellfish. GooglePlace - May 2017

Parking: We parked at some meter parking across the street. Be careful ! There was so much shattered glass everywhere on the streets from people stealing from cars. So make sure that you never place any items in your car that can be seen! Please put your stuff in the trunk for safety! Waiting: Went on a Sunday afternoon, a wait is expected. We waited about 30 minutes to get into the restaurant. Service: Was excellent. I really appreciated the quick staff and service we received. Food: Had the 12 dozen oysters (I forget which ones) but they were really really fresh! They were cold and sweet which is exactly how I like them. Also had the Shrimp and Grits, without knowing what grits were. Hm.... I would personally recommend getting something other than the Shrimp and Grits... it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.
