Good places to grab a sampling of oysters when in the Bay. Nice atmosphere and if you can sit outside on a sunny day it doesn't get much better. GooglePlace - March 2017

Amazing food, quick service, short wait. The baby back ribs and the prawns were amazing, and the oysters were fresh. Zero complaints about the view, either! GooglePlace - March 2017

3.75 Hog Island Oyster is a great establishment, at a great location, with some delicious food! Definitely take some time here and try the oysters! I have to say that the highlight here were the grilled oysters. The ones I got here were the Rockefeller and Chipotle Bourbon. These just tasted awesome, I could have these all day long. They oysters were packed with flavor and are definitely a must try. In terms of the other food, I enjoyed having their oyster Po-Boy and clam chowder. These were definitely other nice options on the menu. The one thing I was disappointed in was grilled cheese sandwich. I felt it was too greasy for me. However, just do not get the grilled cheese and having those grilled oysters will provide you with a great experience here! GooglePlace - January 2017

Freshly shucked oysters from a variety of northern Pacific and Atlantic farms. Served with a light vinegar and scallion sauce, with horseradish and cocktail sauce available upon request. Delightful, if you like oysters. The clam chowder was very tasty. A selection of wine is available and recommended as both an aperitif and a palate cleanser between different kinds of oysters. No reservations accepted, so expect to wait in line until a table is available (staff will serve drinks while you wait). It's worth the wait, and possibly the best oyster venue in San Francisco.
