Java Beach and Ocean Beach have become synonymous for many including the Maguire’s. OB is where they live, work and play. Their days are devoted to making Java Beach the best it can be. This process starts with the coffee, where they engage in meticulous standards of sourcing, cupping and roasting. They apply these standards to every aspect at Java Beach.

Tips from the Net @ Java Beach Cafe

It is an amazing coffee shop, quiet, amazing vibe, and the best views in town. You’re seeing the beach from the windows, or you can seat outside and enjoy the breeze from Ocean Beach. It’s usually busy but not hard to get a spot and the Wi-Fi is decent (don’t expect a lot of Netflix binge though). Do not sit on the tables close to the window after 7pm. Some days they have people playing live and they will need to remove those tables to make space. GooglePlace - December 2017

This is a local place that defines the area for me. Just walked the beach and need something warm to drink, maybe a sandwich, salad, soup, pastry, or brewski? It's always tasty here. It's a medium sized place, with a patio. It's always lively, lots of different walks of life here. Spend a while and relax. GooglePlace - December 2017

Busy cafe near ocean beach. Decent menu selection for a casual lunch. Fresh, tasty ingredients. Usually busy but I have always been able to find a place to sit. GooglePlace - December 2017

My friend and I ate breakfast here (after it being recommended to us by a local lady) on a Saturday morning and we enjoyed it very much. To eat I ordered the smoked salmon bagel sandwich with the everything bagel. At first glance the bagel was smaller than expected, but the taste was absolutely excellent. Really fresh ingredients, and delicious. Strangely, our drinks (cappuccino and a mocha) took a really long time to be made. We were both nearly finished with our food before the drinks were ready. This was a minor thing though in the grand scheme of things and we would happily eat there again any time. We can also vouch for their fruit bowl, oatmeal, and croissant. GooglePlace - August 2017
