I never come to San Francisco without coming here for a beer, Guinness, live music or the awesome fish and chips. Best Irish pub on the planet. Good pub food (esp F&C's), great beer, bands, service. Sport on the TV, but doesn't dominate the atmosphere. I don't do the piano bar stairs, can't comment, so I'm just talking the pub itself. GooglePlace - August 2017

Love this place. Always come back to visit whenever I'm in San Francisco. Dueling pianos downstairs (Wed-sun currently) have a $10 cover but are definitely worth a visit. GooglePlace - July 2017

Good location-- close to Union Square and all the shopping. The mushy peas tasted great & the fish and chips were really well fried with a great batter. I'm only giving this place 4 stars because I felt my friends fried chicken was disappointing. But I would definitely eat the fish & chips again. GooglePlace - June 2017

Visited twice on my recent SF holiday and had a great time each visit. Warm & friendly welcome, fabulous service, excellent food, real value for money and the Irish Coffee is the best I've ever tasted. Great for single diners, couples and groups. Am sure you will not be disappointed if you give this place a try. I will certainly visit again when next in San Francisco. GooglePlace - April 2017

Great food, nice ambiance. I was here on a Friday night. Little loud, but this kind of bar is usually a lot louder and more rambunctious. Looked like a mix of locals and tourists, well behaved bunch. Older crowd, sport fans, not a rowdy young crowd at all. There was live music starting as I left - sounded good. I got the beef & Guinness soup & the Irish potato skins. Both were excellent. Great staff as well, very helpful and attendant. Decent set of Irish or English beers on tap. This is a good place to bring your parents, or a casual group of friends to watch a game. Not a super fancy trendy spot, more of an upscale local spot. GooglePlace - April 2017
