Part bar, part restaurant, Jones is one thing for sure: the most spectacular indoor-outdoor venue in San Francisco. Just two and a half blocks from Union Square, it's easy to get to and hard to leave.

Rooftop bar with heaters in the patio area. My only complaint is, they do not have enough heaters for the patio space or turn on only a few. Most times I go to this place, I end up feeling really cold and as a result end up leaving fairly quickly. GooglePlace - December 2017

Nice atmosphere, huge outdoor space for summer. The indoor space is also great with a cool vibe. The crowd age range varies. GooglePlace - December 2017

One of the nicest rooftop bars San Francisco has to offer. Tons of open air and lots of seating. It does get chilly out there around 6ish. They have a bar dedicated for the patio and an inside bar that is cash only. They do have ATMs inside. The food is also pretty good. I ordered the burger, it was okay. The patty could have used some more flavor. But the mac n' cheese croquettes were delicious. GooglePlace - October 2017

Despite their huge patio, they do not allow customers to put their bike in the corner. They do have a spare lock. I had forgotten my bike lock and just wanted to put my bike along the wall so I could run in to say farewell to a coworker (going away party), and inform them that I could not join them. The bar was empty, and space was plentiful, so I just placed it on the side real quick. I was told that within the 2 minutes that I ran inside to say goodbye, "multiple patrons" had already inquired if they could bring in bikes too simply because I had mine there (this was a lie, because nobody came or left during this time, and nobody came in after either). I understand they have a policy, and it's important to enforce whatever that is, and it's my fault for not having my bike lock on me that day, but I give a low review for lying to me. Additionally, if there are truly multiple customers requesting a place to store their bike during a 5 minute window, and your bar is in the Tenderloin, maybe you should take a hint to meet the needs of your customers.
