Overall its a little small for my own tastes, in comparison - I would rather pack a picnic snack myself, than patronize a limited small operation, which sometimes is too crowded to get it. And sometimes not being served, just because of my appearances (I for one currently am a homeless person, second I do not appear to be white or black, nor asian but rather cosmopolitan). As there still exists preferential treatment in a few places in "this" city. Although the place exploits the fact that it is the "only" public retailer within walking distance, if you have forgotten to pack or purchase something on the way there. If you took the Muni #38R - a few blocks before there is a Walgreen's convenience store next to the fire station on Geary. If you got there by a vehicle, just down the road there is a Safeway supermarket just one block east of the beach. Why bother? Well I recently stopped to get something cold to drink from this place's cooler. The cashier charged me three bucks (actually $2.98) for a 12 oz can of Coke. I personally would rather buy a 2 liter warm at Safeway for the normal going retail price of $2 buck plus deposit, or the daily special with member card. Three dollars for one 12 oz can is robbery, plain and simple. GooglePlace - August 2017

Coffee very bitter and more or less made for big latte with a lot of sugar. What a pity for a great spot like this with regard to the view. Foursquare - April 2017

Warm up with an excellent hot chocolate and cookies while hiding from the rain or with. The night windows provide a great view of the ocean and the gift shop next door has some great souvenirs. GooglePlace - April 2017
