Everything was delicious. Staff was very friendly and the service was fast. We ate too quickly to get a good picture, but you need to try this place. If you've never had Ethiopian or Eritrean food before, the staff is more than happy to help you pick. GooglePlace - July 2017

Genuinely friendly staff and cook. Went there after the usual lunch hour and had their namesake soup and salad. The soup and salad appeared and tasted fresh. The cook/chef made fresh injera (without wheat), so expected to take a bit of time, and it was absolutely delicious. Injera is sourdough tasting, so be aware - dipping in soup or salad dressing may help. Planning to visit again for another meal. GooglePlace - July 2017

Might just be the best Ethiopian food we've eaten! Wherever we travel we always eat Ethiopian. We're so happy we came. Husband and wife run the restaurant. He is the cook and came out to greet us. Excellent flavors. GooglePlace - July 2017

When I see a Ethiopian restaurant, I immediately think of injeera and tibs. This place does it right because the owner is either doing it himself or on-site watching employees cooking it up. I remember when they were located across town and for me to go was a problem. Portions are more than enough maybe even for two. Flavors and aroma just filled the air while you wait. Had a nice dinner with special discount applied. Best part of the meal were the endless injeera, as I probably took in more than a dozen rolled up pieces. Last piece I wipe the plate clean like dish cloth. Family run business with great food and modest price. It's great to see something different being offered in North Beach other than another Italian joint. Tipping my hat to them for making such a great decision. GooglePlace - July 2017

My first Ethiopian, asked for the meat combination, did not blow my mind but very interesting flavors. Need to try more. Lentils were good. Foursquare - June 2017
