Tips from the Net @ Mikkeller Bar

This is one of the few bars in San Francisco that will serve beer to you properly. The little differences really add up to a great experience. Food's pretty good too! GooglePlace - December 2017

One of the best bars I've been to in SF. The beer choice is very wide and changes often. The food is really nice too. Gets a bit noisy at certain hours but with voices of people talking, definitely not loud music. I loved visiting this place at odd hours, sit at the bar and have conversations with strangers. Guaranteed Mikkeller quality. The beers were excellent and not even that expensive when you compare them to other places nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. There was free wifi and the atmosphere was just great. The location does not get any better so best to visit this place if you are in town. GooglePlace - November 2017

The beer selection is top notch. The food was great as well. Highly recommend for higher end pub grub. GooglePlace - November 2017

The hamburger and fries were good The beer was very good but expensive, 11.00 for a small glass. Service good. Place / atmosphere a little cold, sparse. I take it the place is intended to be modern or minimalist feel but it is a little on the bleak side to me. The bar is at the center of the space which makes sense and tables are around the bar core. Most of the tables are set for high sitting, not comfortable, no backs even. Space felt disjointed to me. Not a lot of visual connection or interest to anything except the bar.
