The sandwich place was amazing I remember when it was sorrentos the nephews that took over have done a amazing job keeping the quality of the sandwiches but also giving their place their own uniqueness with the sandwiches they have.The price is reasonable $10 for a monster sandwich fresh meat and bread made daily at the bakery next door I give this place five stars and recommend it to all sandwich lovers .

I`m a 72 year old man, been buying cold cuts for over 60 years.I ordered Prosciutto, Mortadella, capocolla and a sandwich , over $56.00 worth. The sandwich was very good. The prosciutto was old and dry very dark red, he had to slice it very thick so it would stay together,The mortadella edges were crusty [ old]. The capocplla was old and end cuts. In a way it`s my fault because I know better not to buy it if you can`t see it before they slice it.All the cold cuts that they are going to sliced are behind the counter.I have never sent a review before, I hope this will save someone else from getting taken.

Honestly everything and more you expect out of an Italian deli. Wonderful atmosphere, fresh ingredients, a staff who is not only passionate and knowledgeable about their products but welcome you the first time you walk in as if you had been there a 100 times before and best of all the sandwiches....seriously for under $10 you get the experience your mouth would never dream of (not to mention how large they are!). I don't think I could pick a better sandwich shop in the mission...hell even San Francisco! Go there Tuesdays for the fresh meatballs (which are delicious!).
Go there, it's off the muni and worth the trip no matter where you are.
