None pretentious place. You would not know from the outside that there is a restaurant behind the black drapes. Go for the adventure of discovering what you eat as the dishes come to your table. GooglePlace - February 2018

One of the best kept secrets in SF. Doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside and there are only three tables inside. Staff is super friendly though and food has been excellent both times I’ve eaten here. Four course fixed menu for $30-40. I’d recommend making a reservation a week in advance since it’s usually booked GooglePlace - January 2018

Incredible spot in the mission. I think that the current owners kept the original name/sign from the people who owned this before. You need to text the number listed on the google information page/facbeook page for a reservation. Once you're there, it's one of the best deals in the city. $35 + drinks (which come out of a fridge right in the little restaurant for four courses. They always serve an arepa, as a nod to the Peruvian owners who used to run a shop in the same place. Try it out! It's a gem. GooglePlace - July 2017

Always booked. Only seats 12. The chef, Johnny shops at farmers markets and cooks whatever he wants. Small unbelievable courses at a great price. Great place for a date. Not so great if you're a but conservative in regards to ridiculously open conversations. GooglePlace - July 2017
