It’s not every day this city presents you with a massive art deco, Shangri-La filled with brown leather banquettes and marble walls, and dry-aged porterhouses the size of babies. Closing some type of deal over portobello mushroom steaks and a bottle of Groth cab? Sure, you could do that here. In fact, you should. But come back at night. Bring someone tall who knows what to do with a cocktail and a little black dress. Next (and this is important), tell the host to take you directly to a booth. That’s inside of a cabana. Don’t mince words, because what happens next is... exactly that. Looks just like the kind of cabana you’d see at a pool. Except it’s in a steakhouse, which is, convenient. Shut the curtains. Don’t open them until someone comes by with two petite filets and some sautéed seaweed in soy-butter glaze. Eat this. Enjoy this. Then call upon a round of basil, cucumber or ginger martinis and enjoy those, too. Then probably shut the curtains again.

Very elegant decor, welcoming, and quiet perfect for a date. Now, the star of this elegance was the food and the service. Hostess showed us to our table, in minutes we had our drinks and menu's. So first we had the crab cakes, which were crispy full of crab and more crab!!! No fillers here. Full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. Then We got the porterhouse, perfected in flavor and we took the chefs recommendation to have it medium rare. I'm telling you best meat I've had in my LIFE. Next the sides... we had brussel sprout chips which were well seasoned with a bit of lemon. Mac and cheese was savory well balanced in flavor and surprisingly not heavy. After that we had crispy potatoes, well seasoned super crispy and begging you to come back for more. Next was desert, caramel vanilla crunch cake (not my first choice but my wife wanted it) creamy, decadent, moist, had hints of vanilla, and lots of caramel. Over all the meal was fantastic and wait staff was very prompt and efficient never having and empty glass or a dirty dish. I would definitely recommend, will be coming back soon. Came here for dinner and dessert late in the evening on a weeknight. Was pretty much empty. The host was absolutely lovely and made a few drink recommendations. The waiter was less lovely. Didn’t come take our orders or check in for quite a while and once our orders were placed and our plates were received, only checked in once. The coffee and drinks and desserts were fantastic— absolutely 5 Star. Wish the waiter had been, too; we would be here every evening! GooglePlace - March 2018

Make sure you check your final tab here! They charged us an extra $120 of random things we did not order. When we pointed it out, our waiter blamed the training waiter and did absolutely nothing to compensate for almost charging us $120 and getting a tip on top of that. The food tasted good but 2/4 of our party got a low key food poisoning. I guess we shouldn't have ordered seafood in a steakhouse... GooglePlace - February 2018

Well what can I say. Actually the environment I liked, the service was very good and very customer friendly, now for the food. The steak really wasn’t very good at all. Ordered bone in ribeye, it was very thick, cold in the middle, it was almost like they had tried to cook it straight from the fridge, he fat was cold and hard. This order was sent back and instead went for the bone in fillet. It was well cooked to medium rare, but really lacking in flavour. Don’t waste your money here, try another steak house. Delicious food! We shared the crab cake and won ton appetizers. I highly recommend the crab cakes! We had the petite filet and had crab entrees and again both were delicious. The waiter was super personable and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and upscale. We had a wonderful experience and already planned our next dinner there. GooglePlace - December 2017
