Tips from the Net @ Pakwan

Don’t come here for the best Indian food you’ve ever had. Come for the quick turnaround, the affordable prices, and the BYOB! It’s basically serving/bussing yourself. They have an almost inaudible to me announcement system where a bell will ring and they may display your number but you really have to be diligent about checking that it was your order that just came out. There are carafes of water in the minifridges on the left you can take for your table. GooglePlace - February 2018

One of SF's best kept not so secrets. Central, affordable food and a little grimey. GooglePlace - February 2018

Delicious Pakistani food resembling the home made variety. Modest environment but really good food. The garlic naan is crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. A tip - you need to help yourself to the bottles of mint sauce because they don't serve it to you. The curries are spectacular especially the lamb curry, although I found it a tad on the salty side. Overall delicious food. GooglePlace - December 2017

Pakwan is well executed fast-casual. Food is great and comes out fast. Portions are good sized cheap enough to get lots to share. Their garlic naan is absolutely amazing. Staff is very nice. It's busy most of the time, and in the hipster Mission, that's an accomplishment for a place that's been around as long as Pakwan has! GooglePlace - November 2017

A wonderful unpretentious place to eat. Food is wonderful, but the ambiance and service is not lucky. But who cares! The food is tasty and good quality with reasonable pricing. Parking is a bit hard in this area. Guerrero is a good place to look. GooglePlace - September 2017
