Park Tavern is an upscale American tavern from Anna Weinberg & Jennifer Puccio; the team behind the popular Marlowe restaurant in SOMA and the recently opened, the Cavalier. Amazing service with high quality of food. We waited around 15 min until we were set down but got complimentary drinks and appetizer. The steak was a bit dry but all the rest were amazing! It's a lively place with good atmosphere. GooglePlace - August 2017

If you're gluten free, they have a delicious polenta breakfast with eggs and mushrooms which is extremely flavorful. The outdoor seating is very relaxing as it directly faces Washington Square Park and has a nice view of the neighboring cathedral. A great place to relax with a beer or glass of wine on a warm day. Only came in for a happy hour drink and to get out of the Saturday heat. Found some nice cold beer and a cool place to sit down. That's all that mattered today. Dining room looked nice and upscale but did not try the food. Service a bit slow but likely overwhelmed by the North Beach Festival crowd. This was my second time here for dinner. We ordered the deviled eggs, brussels sprout chips, beet salad, demons on horseback, the chicken, the sea bass, the tuna, and the pork belly. Our faves were the deviled eggs, the brussels sprout chips, the tuna, and the pork belly. Fave overall was the pork belly. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and bread pudding. Both were awesome. You won't go wrong with either. The service was also impeccable. You can always rely on Park Tavern for that. GooglePlace - May 2017

The service is really good and the staff is pretty accommodating. Our waiter was fantastic The ambiance is great, with low lighting and rustic interior design. It felt like something out of a movie. Basing the restaurant on strictly the food, I would give it a 3. It's presented very nicely, but the taste doesn't match the pretty pricey menu. One member of the party I was with wasn't pleased at all. The staff did the right thing though by providing him with another meal and side even though the kitchen was closed. GooglePlace - March 2017
