Tips from the Net @ Phở Tan Hoa
Well, this is really good place to eat and also located in downtown San Francisco area. People are so friendly indeed. Especially all foods are so great with reasonable price. You'd better go when you have a chance. GooglePlace - December 2017

There are better restaurants to get Pho in San Francisco than this restaurant. I ordered a large bowl of beef Pho and I was left asking, "Where's the beef?". It seemed that they just gave me a regular bowl size portion of noodles and beef then filled the rest with broth. The broth itself was mediocre and lacked the savory flavor that Pho is known for. The older gentleman that took my order isn't as welcoming as the other staff members and made me feel rushed to place my order. Overall it's okay, but I have no intentions of returning to trying their other food items. GooglePlace - November 2017

Dependable Vietnamese food with a comprehensive menu with pages of steaming treats. Good quality and quick service. A bit pricey, though that could be said about nearly every place in a city of the $10 sandwich. Dishes besides the pho can be MSG heavy for those who know the bizarre pressure bands that come with it. The neighborhood is for people who respect cities and history and not mamby pamby knock-kneed sucklings who think the Earth is a giant food court. Let your helicopter mothers fly you someplace else. The food is authentic and good. Broth tasty and accompanying herbs were fresh and aromatic. I prefer limes to lemon. Fresh lemonade soda was very refreshing. Neighborhood had a lot of homeless but the restaurant itself was nice. My order arrived 3 minutes after I placed it. GooglePlace - September 2017
