My aunt and I went to this restaurant on the night of the pride parade, June 25 2017. The parade is approximately 10am - 4pm. It was about an hour and a half before normal closing time (10) and a server who was handling the front in place of the hostess refused to seat us. She said "we're closing early tonight because of the pride parade, it has just been so busy." I said, "exactly, there are more people in town, which means more customers, and more money, why would you want to close on a busy day? We are from New Jersey, we took an Uber here, my Aunt is disabled and we don't know where else we should go as we planned to come here and we were just here yesterday for lunch." She rolled her eyes and told us that it was the manager's decision to close early. We asked to see the manager. She went to the actual hostess who was chatting at the bar with the bartender, who came over and tried to explain the same story rather than getting the manager. She was extremely rude and refused to seat us, just as the server had. We demanded to see the manager. He was also very rude, groaned, rolled his eyes, and finally agreed to seat us. The food was great, but it made me nauseous watching as they turned away several groups of tourists with the same story, most saying they had planned to eat here and didn't know where else to go in the area. We finished eating before many of the other customers who had gotten there before us. Guess we weren't such an inconvenience after all. The manager came over and apologized for acting rudely, stating that he recognized us as frequent customers during our stay. I mentioned that I had eaten here on each of my trips to San Francisco. Too late, buddy, you made your impression and it was a poor one. Prior to beginning my work for a criminal defense law firm, I worked in many restaurants. We closed early on extremely slow days, not on busy days when we were packed and making a ton of money. Just doesn't make much sense to turn away paying customers. GooglePlace - July 2017

My mom and I were walking around the city and had no idea where to eat. We saw this place and decided to go there. Best delicious. It was hands down the best place we ate at when in San Francisco. Their food is absolutely delicious, not too expensive, and there's fast and friendly service. The portions are larger than most other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend. Great spinach salad and the carbonara is to die for. NY Strip steak was good, not great, but the truffle fries were awesome. Kids loved their personal pizzas. Very good service. GooglePlace - June 2017

My wife and our two friends immensely enjoyed our experience here, with the service from Steven being excellent. I asked for Steven suggestion on what I should order, and he suggested the pork chops. I was somewhat surprised that pork chops are not usually at the top of the suggestion list, but my mind was blown by the pork chops that were delivered to my table. Perfectly seasoned and wonderfully grilled this pork chop changed my entire perception. The other three in my party immensely enjoyed their dishes including the ravioli, the spaghetti meatballs, and an chicken and angel hair pasta dish. Overall the service and experience were great, definitely suggest this place for your next date night. GooglePlace - June 2017

Excellent food. Excellent service. Food takes a little bit of time to come to the table, but it is perfect when it arrives. Recommend the pork chop - the rhubarb reduction is to die for. And the chocolate truffle cake may be the best dessert I've ever had... and I was a dessert chef. GooglePlace - May 2017
