Great atmosphere and service for a night out; food is a bit too heavily flavored and/or salty, especially the rib eye and dumpling. Fried chicken is spicy and juicy, fried tofu a bit dry and the roll and sashimi offerings are solid enough. Overall, a 3-4 star menu but with 5 star service and setting. The food is amazing really. There's no wrong choice you can make on the menu and the staff is accommodating and attentive. I can't wait for an excuse to bring my friends here. GooglePlace - July 2017

This was a good experience for Japanese food. The beef was very well cooked to our tasting. The herbs were able great just a little strong. Our "hot pot rice" has a little too much ginger spice in it. The cost per plate was a tad pricey but not too crazy. It's a good place to eat if our out of town and want to spend some money on a good meal. GooglePlace - July 2017

This place seriously has amazing food. Must try the short ribs, start with spicy edamame and lamb chops were so tender and fantastic! Foursquare - June 2017

Been here a couple times now and never disappointed! Fantastic meat: the American wagyu with the bone marrow is particularly delicious but if you're looking to splurge, the Japanese Wagyu is absolutely fantastic. It's super tender and moist and comes with a few sauces should you choose to dip your meat in there. Had the dessert platter last time as well which was good but the highlight was the chocolate lava cake. Definitely not on the cheap side but you leave satisfied thanks to the portions as well as the very rich food you'll probably be having here. Would recommend to anyone looking to go out for a special occasion or just to have a really nice meal in SF! GooglePlace - June 2017
