Best late night spot to get food in the Sunset. Period. The pizza is pretty good. They also sell by the slice which is very good. Each slice is around $5. I've tried some wings here and they are so-so. Definitely better known for the pizza. Spot is being remodeled, which I think can definitely help bring in more customers. Felt more like a pickup spot than a sit down spot, although either works for them. GooglePlace - February 2018

My favorite pizza in town. Staff is always friendly. Pizza is New York style. The pizza always has the perfect combo of cheese, topping and crust. GooglePlace - January 2018

Supposedly inspired by East Coast pizza, but missing something subtle... the thickness of the crust, perhaps. Still, a great place if you abandon your NYC snobbishness. GooglePlace - January 2018

Irving Pizza reminds me of a NY slice joint. They have the right thin crust. The pizza is very good, that is if you long for NY style pizza. The ambiance is nice and low brow the way a NY slice shop is suppose to be. GooglePlace - December 2017

The family went to Irving Pizza on 08/05/2017 (Saturday) to grab a couple of slices after swimming. Got a couple of cheese slices, a pepperoni, and a pesto. Decent pizza, not overly thick. My kids enjoyed the food a lot so they get 3.87 stars from me! I did come here once before a long while back - they were open late for the post-bar crowd. GooglePlace - August 2017
