Family-style Korean-influenced northern-Chinese restaurant in the middle of Japantown. Recipes are not real fancy, but they use fresh tasty ingredients. Portions are very large. We ordered 2 dishes for the 2 of us and still had leftovers. They are open all afternoon, unlike most of the Japanese restaurants in the area that are closed between lunch and dinner. I was surprised when I saw some nice reviews on this restaurant. Maybe my experience was one of exception or my expectation was too high but their food were terrible and among the worst. More importantly I did not feel the food was freshly prepared. We ordered three main dishes and none of them were good enough so we did not finish any of them and just left them as is. Packing the into to-go box would be waste of box. If you wsnt junk food, you can go and try. Buger king would be better than them. GooglePlace - June 2017

This may not be the most upscale restaurant, but we are repeat customers because of the great taste, ample portions, and reasonable prices of the Chinese Korean dishes. We always end up with take home boxes that would feed us for at least another meal. GooglePlace - June 2017

The dumplings tasted ok but didn't smell very appealing. They didn't have green tea (what. how??), and the standard tea they served was a bland rice tea that I was sure was just hot water based on the taste. The waiter was nice though. Edit addition: 3 tables in the whole place and they took so long picking up our card we had to walk it over ourselves. GooglePlace - May 2017

The best noodles in San Francisco. On cold days, our family also enjoys the soups. They have a wonderful selection of soups and dishes that really stand out to make an impression. My father has been bringing his friends from out of town to San Wang for years. GooglePlace - March 2017
