Plan ahead and make reservations. The food is top of the line. Loved the house made soda selection; such great flavor and I consider myself a house made soda snob. Clay pot entree....one of the best choices! Generous portions - love the family style service and overall vibe. GooglePlace - July 2017

Food and service were excellent. If you sit outside, bring a jacket. The scrambled eggs are sneakily one of the best items on the menu...don't sleep on them! Melon salad, tuna sashimi and artic char are all incredible GooglePlace - July 2017

No stars; to post this message however, was forced to give at least one. Definitely the absolute WORST food I've ever had. Ordered shrimp and chive dumplings, shaking beef, cellophane noodles with crab and spicy broccoli. Nothing good to say about any of it. I've had better food at Panda Express. VERY expensive too. People, please, DO NOT believe the hype...If you do, remember I tried to warn you. GooglePlace - July 2017

This has to be my favorite restaurant in the US! Every time I go to SF, the first thing I do is book a visit to SD. My favorite dish is the cellophane noodles with crab - I order it every time. I also love the chicken clay pot and the shaking beef. If I would choose, I would go to Slanted's cousin Out The Door, which is quieter and where it's easier to get reservations. One of the best restaurants in SF. Expect a wait to be seated. Extremely fast service. We ordered the crispy rolls and noodles (see picture). It has a great view on the bay. Unisex restrooms. GooglePlace - July 2017
