It was worthy to try the cioppino. There were plenty of seafood and penne for two people and it was seasoned well. If you are more than 2 people, you can make a reservation which is highly recommended because my friend and I went there around 8:20 at Thursday night and we ended up waiting to be seated for 45 minutes. This restaurant is quite famous and you can wait a long time before being seated. They apparently serve the best cioppina in town. On my side, I took the mussels steamer. The dish was tasteful but the mussels weren't cleaned enough and I had to debeard a lot of them. The staff was also not reactive when needed. Positive note: it is not very expensive. I was expecting a little bit more from a popular restaurant. GooglePlace - September 2017

Alaskan halibut was delish! Fun casual atmosphere. Have no idea what the interior looks like cause we dined outside, which was PERFECT! GooglePlace - September 2017

Best meal I had during my short trip in SF. Even though we tried to beat the queue at 6, we were only able to get a reservation by 8. Despite the long wait at a nearby cafe, the food didn't disappoint. We ordered the raw clam, the ciopinno, linguine in pesto sauce, chowder and seafood risotto. Everything is so good. My favourite is the ciopinno!!!! GooglePlace - August 2017

The best lunch I've had in a long time. We had the house red wine, west coast oysters on the half shell, and the ciopinno. All were delicious. The ciopinno takes a little while to come out but that's just testament to how fresh it is. Those ladies in there HAUL ASS. It's a busy place and they get it done. GooglePlace - August 2017
