Tips from the Net @ Swan Oyster Depot
Everything about this place is incredible. Ordered what the staff recommended and was disappointed when I was too full to keep eating. The seafood is incredible and the dishes are simple and Delicious, highlighting the quality of the food.GooglePlace - September 2017
Amazing seafood !! Clam chowder is full of seafood flavour, the seafood sashimi with chopped red onion and capers which compliments the raw fish. Crab claws with cocktail sauce is another yummy dish.
The staff look like a family and they are really nice! Be prepared to wait in line for an hour or come very very early otherwise you won't be able to find a seat.GooglePlace - August 2017
Tried a bit of everything and everything was really good. My personal favorite was the smoked salmon on bread. The staff was very friendly and helpful in deciding what to get if you want something off menu. The seating is very limited as it is mostly just a bar with ~15 seats. It is cash only and the prices can add up so make sure to bring enough.GooglePlace - July 2017
This place originally started out as a fresh seafood butcher shop and slowly evolved into a small seat counter to eat at. With only about 20 seats sitting right up against the glass, prepare to come quite early as the line has been known to be up to 45 minutes. The seafood is all amazing, ranging from fresh oysters and clams, sea urchin to crab back and crab cocktail. The reason I go however is the most amazing smoked salmon in the world... seriously get some. Can run a bit pricey and don't expect anything other than seafood however It. Is. Worth. It.GooglePlace - June 2017
Do not like standing in line for about 2 and a half hours when I am handicapped and not sure what all the fuss is about. It's good but so are other places to get oysters and also in New Zealand for super cheap prices!
This is a family owned business but I thought the guy was nice to say order beer while waiting in line.
No parking lot.
Only 18 bar stools and people eat for about an hour in the counter. Counter space only which is a challenge for handicapped persons.GooglePlace - April 2017
Few places have the longevity - or the popularity - of this tiny oyster bar. Even after more than 100 years, people still wait in line to get a seat at one of the 18 stools at the counter.Foursquare - August 2014

The Sancimino brothers (six of them!) are always joking around behind the counter. Order cracked crab and a pint of Anchor Steam. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7cFoursquare - March 2013
