The food isn't bad, but it's also not great. The restaurant has been updated in 40 years and looks rundown. We felt like we could've done much better somewhere else for the amount of money we spent. GooglePlace - July 2017

Bad experience, service far too long, not clean (not only toilets), food tasteless And expensive. We had scalops And prawn, scalops over cooked, tasteless sauce and cold vegetables. 3 scalops 5prawns for 30 bucks, il called it robery. Avoid ! By the way, stunning view they promise is just over the wharf next door. GooglePlace - July 2017

my brother and i LOVE this place. there are so many tourist traps on the wharf luring you in with promises of tasty cioppino, but this by far has been our favorite place. giant portions of flavorful and tomato-y seafood broth (enough for two meals!) served with a side of crunchy garlic bread and great views of the bay -- what more could you want? the decor might be a bit dated, but i think that it just brings a warm and welcoming vibe. plus, the restaurant is always empty whenever we visit for some reason, so there's usually no wait and prime window seating available. i will admit that the entrance is a little strange (the stairs in particular) which makes the ambivalent customer a little apprehensive, but head upstairs and i promise all your cioppino dreams will be fulfilled. Atmosphere was a little boring. It has a very 80's look to it. I'm pretty sure that's when they installed the carpet. The food however was pretty good. Crab cakes on spot, sourdough clam chowder is better than some others. Seafood fettuccine could of been a lot better... and the old fashion, don't even. GooglePlace - May 2017

Great experience. Food was delicious. Pics of Clam Chowder and tacos. Couldn't get a pic of the crab cakes because my son devoured them. Chowder was creamy with the right amount of "chunks". Tacos were flavorful with blackened seasoning. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. GooglePlace - March 2017
