Best dining experience I had in SF. The restaurant space is industrial-chic and opens out to Tartine's bakery space. The food was incredible, service was wonderful. Pricey but worth it. GooglePlace - January 2018

Cool place, especially if you are interested in artisanal baking. Food is good but pricey. I had the Grilled Cheese which was excellent, but for $14 it would have been nice to get some type of side or side salad with it. No big deal as long as you know what to expect. GooglePlace - January 2018

I love this place. The building is great, so bright. The smell is great, just cooked bread. There's a window where you can see people working on the loafs. Since I'm a home baker here I found a lot of inspiration. The food is delicious! GooglePlace - January 2018

Bread is delicious. Note that The selection here does not change every day as at the original Tartine shop. They carry sesame, oat porridge, and country loaves. Foursquare - December 2017

The food was mediocre. I had coddled egg with trout roe and sesame bread. My husband had charred broccoli sandwich. Both were not that great tasting. For the 16$ for 4 slices of bread and only 1 egg, i think it is a ripoff esp since it didn't even taste that good. The bread tasted good. The only savior was the coffee which was delicious.
