T C Pastry has a good selection of dim sum at very reasonable prices. One of my favorite things about them is their offering of yin tiao based dim sum. They offer yin tiao wrapped in a rice noodles with peanut sauce, and yin tiao in sticky rice with pickled vegetables and pork sung. They also have this giant Chinese tamale with pork belly, dried shrimp, Chinese sausage, chestnuts, and some other surprises. They also have many of the dim sum favorites. Highly recommended. Beware, though, that this is just a greasy bakery that probably doesn't have a perfect score from the health department. So if you get offended dining anywhere less than 3 stars, stay away. One of the friendlier dim sum counters in the Sunset. GooglePlace - July 2017

Cheap dim sums. Try their flat noodles, I usually get the vegan one or one with dried shrimp. Really good stuff. GooglePlace - July 2017

A classic San Francisco establishment. Dim sum, jook and fresh noodles to go. A few seats inside if you want to eat there. Good quality dim sum at an extremely affordable price. GooglePlace - May 2017

The place itself doesn't have a lot of ambiance, but boy is the dim sum delicious. Coconut red bean balls, pulled pork turnovers and steamed pork buns, are just a few of the scrumptious items you can order. Go to the counter and take in all the fresh items on display, be wonderfully overwhelmed by choices, select yummy things and then be on your way to whatever place has decor that pleases you.
