Visited the Boardroom for Taco Tequila Trivia Tuesday. The Bar Itself: It's a smallish bar that can seat probably 40-50 people. It's a little worn but not dirty. Beer selection is small with about 8 beers on tap. Service was pretty good and was friendly. The Trivia: The questions were split into 6 rounds: Current events (Basically Trump questions plus local SF happenings), US history, Identitying pictures (in our case, pictures of villains that ranged from Streetfighter's M. Bison to Carmen San Diego to Breaking Bad's Gustavo Fring), Music round (naming artists when songs are played), General knowledge, and Complete the sheet (you're given a sheet of paper with numerous things to match - in our case, song titles and artists). Overall, the bar was lively, but trivia felt more like a side event, mainly because the man asking the questions was hidden partially in a corner, and he wasn't terribly engaging, satisfied to give questions and answers. Neither the bar nor the trivia are worth an out-of-your-way stop, in my opinion. GooglePlace - June 2017

Neighborhood sports bar in North Beach best know for it's bacon-wrapped tater tots. Mostly locals, but wanders are welcome too. I like the television panels that surrounds the place. No matter where you're seated, you'll be able see your favorite team. Workers will engaged and talk with locals on slower nights. Prices are at least a buck cheaper than others depending on how fancy the place is. GooglePlace - April 2017

I want to give this place five stars because the food was unbelievably delicious. We went for brunch on a Saturday and service was super fast despite them only having one cook, and us having a large group. However, the place itself is a total dive. It's dark and dingy, they keep kegs in the bathroom, and there was a dog walking around the restaurant. I love dogs, but I thought that was a little strange... GooglePlace - January 2017
