We've been to San Francisco three times and this was the first time we've been able to score a table at Tony's. It was well worth the wait though. The biggest problem is trying to get a table - they don't take reservations and everyone in your party needs to be in situ before you can put your name down for a table. We rocked up at 5.30 on a Thursday night and got a table straight away. The range of pizzas is mind boggling but in the end we went for a Gold Medal Coal Fired New Yorker and it was fabulous from the crust to the topping. Service was great and there was a really bustling vibe. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town! GooglePlace - September 2017

Amazing wood fired pizza offering classic Italian to new American flavors. Service was great and staff was friendly. Only problem is there's always a wait and they don't accept reservations. We waited for 45 minutes at 3:30 pm for a very late lunch on a Saturday. Cocktails and desserts are delicious too. GooglePlace - September 2017

This place was phenomenal. The service was friendly and attentive even though they were packed. My fiance has Celiac so we have to be very careful when we eat out. They treated us so well here. They have a separate prep area and even a separate oven to cook the pizza in. And it was so good. The best gluten free pizza and bread sticks we have ever had. The bar had excellent mixed drinks to really complete the whole experience. If you find yourself in the area and are craving some pizza, you would have a hard time doing better than Tony's! We had a wonderful experience at Tony's. We first tried a Saturday night at around 8pm, this was a 2 hour wait. The next time we tried Sunday at around 4:30pm, we were told an hour wait which only ended up taking 40 minutes. We had delicious regular and gluten free pizzas and when half my pizza was accidentally thrown out instead of boxed up due to a miscommunication, they were very apologetic and took appropriate and considerate action to make sure I was not left disappointed. Amazing service, great food and totally worth the wait GooglePlace - September 2017
