Stopped in for a quick cocktail before dinner while I was staying next door at The Marker. My buddy took a little longer than expected so I ordered an appetizer while I waited. I got the pork rillette served with bread and mustard. The portion was a lot bigger than I could have ever expected. It was served in a fairly large glass jar with a thick layer of smooth and creamy fat on top of the pork. It was tender and seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed it very much. I'm kind of disappointed I didn't stay for dinner. If I'm ever back at The Marker I will definitely stop in for dinner.GooglePlace - January 2018

Fantastic happy hour with prices for wine you don't usually see in SF. Worth a visit.Foursquare - December 2017
Tratto is a Union Square savior, and its happy hour is no exception. Head here weekdays 3PM-6PM for light bites from $3 to $8, house wine for $4, house cocktails for $6, and well cocktails for $7.Foursquare - November 2017
The food was decent, but not worth the price at all. I had the squash ravioli and it was not fresh! It was so obvious that the ravioli' were frozen as it did not taste fresh at all. I also asked for some fresh Parmesan and the manager said they do not have "fresh" Parmesan! Really???? You are a high end Italian restaurant and you don't have fresh Parmesan?? You need to fix that ASAP!!! The service was great, the server was quick and attentive but everything else was so-so.GooglePlace - November 2017
I've been at the Marker Hotel 3 days and have yet been able to eat in this restaurant. It seem to always be some bull when I go in there. I'm really beginning to believe that Tratto has a problem with people of color! I've been told that the servers are on break and need to set up, to oh we have so many reservations and cant sit you. Really? You could accommodate 1 person? So if you are a person if color stay away from this restaurant.GooglePlace - November 2017
Overall nice ambience and good service. Enjoyed our salads and had the blue cheese and pear pizza. Topping was great but the crust was very doughy and not cooked well which I think is a cardinal sin for an Italian pizza placeGooglePlace - October 2017
We were here during a weekend visit in San Francisco staying at the Hotel Marker – a beautiful boutique style hotel in the heart of the city.
Pros: Service was great. Very attentive servers and host. The ambiance takes you back to a 50’s diner. Menu offered a classic selection of breakfast eats. Prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.
Cons: The tables needed a bit more scrubbing down as they were slightly sticky.
If you’re looking for something a bit more upscale, this is not the place for you because they don’t get too creative with their dishes but if you want something simple, affordable and familiar, then this is the American diner to visit (at least for breakfast)GooglePlace - September 2017
The murals are oddly demonic and the cocktails are *on point*. The steak? Meh.Foursquare - August 2017
