Came to Triptych for Sunday dinner @ 7pm - we had reservations for 10 and were seated promptly as each guest showed up. Restaurant is small and seats 25 or so. Ambiance is casual and trendy, with unique art pieces decorating the walls. Good for a casual get-together with friends. I have to say, despite the diverse menu, the food was just OK. I ordered the Surf 'n' Turf with steak and scallops. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium, but it tasted well done so was pretty dry for my taste. We all split the Warm Chocolate Molten Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake - the rest of my party really liked the latter, but they both weren't my taste. Bill came out to ~$30/person including tip, which wasn't terrible. Since the rest of my party liked their food, I'd come back to try another dish if I happened to be in the area. I entered the restaurant with trepidation due to seeing just a few customers at  6:30pm on a Friday evening. It was mostly empty throughout our dinner. We ordered a few dishes to share: octopus salad, salmon wrapped in corn husk and seafood salad. Unfortunately, the ingredients did not taste fresh, like octopus, mussels and clams. They were too chewy and fishy. They were accommodating with our request to expedite service to make it on time to see Newsies. GooglePlace - April 2015

The lighting is pretty dark in here, making it kind of romantic. I got the burger and it was okay at best. This was all I had, not sure if I would go back but it doesn't mean the other food items are not better. GooglePlace - March 2015
