Description

Our upscale and chic restaurant has delectable menu items that you won’t be able to get enough of. Each entree features the freshest and most sustainable seafood available. Offering lunch and dinner, Waterbar also has quite the selection of wines. The two guiding principles we followed when putting our wine list together were suitability and sustainability. Here at Waterbar, we feature fresh seafood from around the world, so on one hand, the offerings on this list echo the classical or traditional pairings of seafood and wine, traditions that stretch back hundreds, and in certain cases thousands, of years. On the other hand, we have also selected wines that appear to fly in the face of these traditions, offering an interesting and innovative approach to pairing wine with seafood. The Terrace, an outdoor space on the North side of the building, boasts a spectacular view of the Bay Bridge, has its own private bar and is the perfect place for an after-work cocktail gathering, private lunch or chef's tasting dinner. This place is very beautiful inside and the patio as well. You have a beautiful view of a Bridge. But their food is a ok. I had Seafood enchiladas, amazingly good. My husband had a biscuits and gravy he didn't care for it too much my kids had one chicken strips which were pretty dry and my daughter had a ravioli dish with only for raviolis in it. She didn't like it too much either. I think it's more of try it once and try the experience. GooglePlace - September 2017

The view from Waterbar is great! I didn't get to go at night for the lights on the Bay Bridge, but even without them, it's a really striking view. The feel of the place is also excellent, and the happy hour specials were tasty! GooglePlace - September 2017

We went to the Waterbar on Saturday for a nice breakfast. We had a gift certificate, which made the whole experience better. The service was good although the food did take a long time to come out. Might have gotten 4 stars but my date found a hair in her food. They were quick to take the food back and have a fresh one prepared, but by the time her food came back out we were getting restless. As she ate the second dish she kept pulling crab shells out of her mouth. Not sure what's going on here but I think it's safe to say we will not return. GooglePlace - August 2017

The seating is first come first served unless reservations are made. This leads to quite a bit of hunger games type of behavior from guest. We had 3 groups waiting on our table while signing the check. Our waiter was not attentive at all but the bar backs and bus boys were on top of things. Oysters were very delicious but small and the $3 beer is not on the happy the happy hour menu so had to be requested. Great views, great decor but I won't be returning. GooglePlace - May 2017
