Food and service are good. We sat downstairs with booth-like table for six. The table is long enough to seat three on each side. However, that length makes it difficult for the waiter/waitress to serve or reach the two seated on the inside. Wine glasses, water glasses, have to be passed to the outside to be filled and dishes have to be passed the opposite direction to reach the two persons seated furthest in. Kind of an annoyance throughout the meal. GooglePlace - December 2017

Top tier new American restaurant in Financial District. Try parsnip soup, bone marrow or chilled lobster. Hearty entrees include fried chicken, salmon, bavette steak, PEI mussels and more. Private rooms upstairs are great for groups. Classy urban dark woods and bright linens lend an elegant touch to the superior service. GooglePlace - December 2017

Delicious food and particularly the popovers! It can get a bit noisy when the dining room is full, but the fried chicken is very good. Generally pretty easy to get a reservation and convenient location. GooglePlace - November 2017

I love this restaurant, noon into the evening. Mind you I've only sat at the bar, but every time I've been here I've left happy. The beer selection on tap is always good, and the cocktails are well made. The steak tartare is one of my favorite dishes, although deviled eggs are also a great choice. I've also been told they have the best fried chicken in the city. GooglePlace - November 2017

Great American comfort food. Excellent service. Really tough to get a reservation especially on the weekends. GooglePlace - November 2017
